Security forces arrest five Kurdish civilians in Bukan, Shahin Dej

On Thursday, May 9, Idris Hajirasoulpour, the brother of Mohammad Hajirasoulpour, one of the victims of the women, life, freedom uprising, living in Bukan, was arrested by the security forces. At the same time, four citizens from the village of “Haji Abad” in Shahindej city named Rahman Khosravi, Osman Abbasi, Shahram Soltani and Hayman Alizadeh were arrested by the security forces. According to Kurdistan Human Rights Network, on Thursday, May 9, security forces raided the house of Idris Haji Rasulpour from the families of the petitioners in Bukan and arrested him without presenting a court order. At the same time, the security forces raided the family homes of four citizens named Rahman Khosravi, Osman Abbasi, Shahram Soltani and Hayman Alizadeh in the village of “Haji Abad” in Shahindej and arrested them by beating them. No information has been obtained about the accusations made and the whereabouts of these people. It is said that these citizens were arrested by the security forces in connection with this year’s Nowruz ceremony in this city. In the past few weeks, agents of the Intelligence Department and the Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps have arrested or summoned dozens of Kurdish citizens, activists and artists for holding or attending Nowruz ceremonies in various cities of Kurdistan.
