Execution of 9 people in one day.. 7 of them were executed in Kurdistan

At least 7 prisoners were executed in Urumieh and Selmas prisons, and two more prisoners were executed in Nishabour and Qom prisons. In the morning of Saturday, May 18, the death sentence of 6 prisoners named Parveen Mousavi, Ramin Lundpour, Parviz Ghasemi, Mansour Naseri, and Youssef Saeedi, who were previously sentenced to death on charges related to "narcotics", was executed in Central Prison. Parveen Mousavi, 50 years old from Maragheh, Mansour Naseri, 45 years old from Bukan, Yusuf Saeedi, 32 years old from Urmia, Parviz Ghasemi, 35 years old from Urmia, and Ramin Lundpour, 27 years old from Urmia, were previously arrested in 5 separate cases on charges related to "narcotics". They were sentenced to death. Saleh Ghasemi, the father of Parviz Ghasemi and Rashid Lundpour, the brother of Ramin Lundpour, were also executed in 2021 for the same charge in the central prisons of Urmia and Rajaei Shahr of Karaj. Also, on the morning of Saturday, May 29, the death sentence of a prisoner named Kaveh Bashenge, who was previously sentenced to death on charges related to "drugs", was executed in Selmas prison. This prisoner, along with another prisoner named Asghar Hajizadeh, was transferred to solitary confinement on Thursday, May 27, and their death sentence was executed this morning. Kaveh Bashengeh, from Mahabad, was arrested and sentenced to death about 4 years ago on charges related to "drugs". Asghar Hajizadeh, 47 years old, father of 3 children and a native of Selmas, was arrested and sentenced to death about 5 years ago on charges related to drugs. On the other hand, 27-year-old Fateme Abdullahi was executed in Neishabour prison and Naser Atard was executed in Qom prison on charges of intentional murder. Since the beginning of this year, 224 prisoners have been executed in Iran's prisons, 10 of whom were women.
