Armed conflict in Baneh. 4 members of the border regiment were killed and injured

As a result of the armed conflict in the Hengjal border area near the city of Baneh, one member of the Iranian Border Guard Regiment was killed and 3 other members of this force were injured. According to recent reports, a group of members of Iran’s border guard unit was ambushed by an unknown group at Hengjal border near Bane city of Kurdistan province, and one member of the border guard regiment was killed in this conflict. The Tasnim site affiliated with the IRGC announced that a guard tower in the Baneh border regiment was killed and two soldiers and one staff member of the border regiment were injured. Although government sources have indirectly accused Kurdish opposition parties, none of the Kurdish parties have claimed responsibility for this attack.
