in the past few months, Iranian journalists in
Erbil have been informed by local security forces that their lives are in
danger, as one country's (meaning Iran) assassination teams are trying to
assassinate them. But they dare not talk about their situation. So, it leads me
to talk in a program on the kurdish part of VOA about the increasing pressures
on the Iranian Kurd Journalists in the Kurdistan Regional Government (Iraqi
Kurdistan).
In that program on behalf of Iranian Kurd
Journalists which faced threats and pressures in the KRG, I talked in details
about types of threats and pressures. Also, I offered to establish the
Syndicate for Iranian Kurds Journalists to support journalists in emergency
situations and inform International organizations like RSF.
