Kurdistan Human Rights Association: We demand prosecution from the Iranian government

KMMK:
On Wednesday, January 8, a Ukrainian passenger plane in Tehran was shot down by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s air defense, killing 178 people.
The Islamic Republic of Iran initially declared the plane crash to be a technical failure. Finally, due to international and media pressure, the Iranian authorities had to admit and acknowledge that the Iranian government’s air defense had targeted the aircraft.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has refused to take responsibility for the terrible incident, which has been described as human error.
Kurdistan Human Rights Association rejects the Iranian government’s allegation, but believes that the Iranian government, as well as its inhumane policies of forty years, sacrificed these 176 civilians, alongside lack of accountability, the continuation and persistence of authoritarian policies Enforcement has tried to distract public opinion from the events of the past few days.
In November this year, at least 1,500 civilians were killed in Iran and Kurdistan, and hundreds of civilians arrested by the Iranian government’s oppressive forces. On the other hand, Qassim Suleimani, the commander of the Iranian Quds Corps, who tried to fuel Iran’s terrorist activities in Iraq and Syria, was killed in Iraq.
It is noteworthy that the political, economic and social situation of Iranian societies has reached a point of crisis and that the ruling regime is in danger of collapsing at any time. The demonstrators called for a change of government at several rallies that were violently suppressed by the Islamic Republic’s military and security forces.
Kurdistan Human Rights Association sees the death of passenger planes as a planned operation by the Islamic Republic of Iran and calls on the United Nations and other international organizations to stop the catastrophic policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
At the same time, it calls on the international community and the International Court of Justice to prosecute the Iranian government for its numerous violations of human rights, crimes against humanity, and in particular crimes against these 176 dead.
