In the first part, the background of the assassination of the opposition abroad, and especially the assassination of individuals and officials of the Pahlavi government, as well as individuals affiliated with the Islamic Republic who had turned away from this regime. In this section, we will focus on the assassination of the regime of the Islamic Republic, which constitutes the majority of the victims. A State Department report cites 360 assassinations of Iranian dissidents abroad over 40 years.
