Summoning and interrogating a cultural activist

Monday, 21 September 2016 Mr. Amir Piadeh, a cultural activist and head of the Bayan Kurdish Language Training Institute, has been repeatedly summoned and interrogated by the Intelligence Office of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the city of Buchan in recent days. He had previously been summoned to the Intelligence Office of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Buchan on July 22, 2016, and was released on bail after being interrogated. According to reports, Iranian government security forces summoned the citizen by telephone and interrogated him for three hours each time. It should be noted that the summoning and interrogation of this citizen has been announced in connection with his cultural and educational activities and the Bayan Institute.
