Statement of 900 Authors: The three members of the Writers' Association are killing freedom

More than 900 writers, translators and poets in a letter to the executive and judicial authorities of the country called the three members of the Writers' Association "its ill-fated and liberal" and "the great damage to the fundamental rights of the individual of the Iranian people."

The statement called on all judicial and executive authorities of the country to immediately and unconditionally remove the charges against the three.

According to the announcement of Branch 28 of the Revolutionary Court, Reza Khandan (Mahabadi), Bektash Abtin and Keyvan Bazen, they have been sentenced to six years in prison on charges of "propaganda against the regime and acting against national security."

The 900 writers stressed that the three were "actually tried only for expressing opinions and expressing their opinions".

The signatories of the statement also expressed their clear objections to "unfair practices of the judiciary and security encounters with the pen and writers."

Many famous writers and translators have signed this statement.

The Writers' Association of Iran has stated that these writers have been sentenced to prison only because of their membership in the center and the gathering of documents for the 50th anniversary of the Center in the form of an unpublished book, as well as the presence of the graves of writers such as Ahmad Shamloo, Mohammad Mokhtari and Jafar Puyehand.

The Universal Pen Pen said in a statement "deep concern" of the ruling and insisted that the charges against these three writers were "a flagrant violation of the right to freedom of expression."

"We are solidifying our Iranian colleagues, who are being charged with their writings and their peaceful activities, and we call on the Iranian authorities to bring all the allegations against them," Rebecca Sharki, director of the campaigns and affairs of the Universal Pen Club, said. They cancel these writers and respect their right to freedom of expression. "

In recent years, security guards have repeatedly arrested the organizers of the Writers' Club and arrested members of the organization.

The corporation announced on its 50th anniversary of its establishment last year that it "continues to work against censorship and defend freedom of expression and the organization of writers."

The Writers' Association was formed on the 1st of May 2013 with the signing of 49 writers and its founding members include Jalal-al-Ahmad, Bahram Beyzaee, Dariush Ashuri, Mohammad Ali Sepanlou and Isma'il Nuriyla.

ئه‌و 900 نوسه‌ره‌ جه‌ختیان له‌وه‌كردۆته‌وه‌ كه‌ ئه‌و سێ كه‌سه‌ "له‌ راستیدا ته‌نها تاوانیان ده‌ربڕینی بیر و باوه‌ڕ و رای خۆیان بووه‌ و هه‌ر به‌و هۆیه‌شه‌وه‌ سزا دراون".

واژۆكه‌رانی به‌یاننامه‌كه‌ به‌ توندی ناڕه‌زایه‌تی خۆیان له‌ به‌رامبه‌ر ره‌وتی نادادپه‌روه‌رانه‌ی ده‌سه‌ڵاتی دادوه‌ری و مامه‌ڵه‌ی ئه‌منیه‌تی له‌گه‌ڵ نوسه‌ران ده‌ربڕیوه‌.

پێشتریش كانونی نوسه‌رانی ئێران باسی له‌وه‌كردبوو كه‌ ئه‌و سێ كه‌سه‌ ته‌نها به‌ هۆكاری ئه‌ندامێتی له‌و كانونه‌ و كۆكردنه‌وه‌ی به‌ڵگه‌نامه‌ی چالاكی په‌نجا ساڵه‌ی كانون له‌ چوارچێوه‌ی كتێبێكی بڵاونه‌كراوه‌ و ئاماده‌بوونیان له‌سه‌ر گۆڕی نوسه‌رانی وه‌ك ئه‌حمه‌د شاملو، محه‌مه‌د مۆختاری و جه‌عفه‌ر پویه‌نده‌ زیندانی كراون.

پێنی نێوده‌وڵه‌تیش له‌ به‌یاننامه‌یه‌كدا نیگه‌رانی قوڵی خۆی له‌و سزایه‌ و تۆمه‌تی قورسی سه‌ر ئه‌و سێ نوسه‌ره‌ ده‌ربڕیوه‌ و به‌ پێشێلی ئاشكرای مافی ئازادی راده‌ربڕین ناوی بردوه‌.

له‌ ساڵانی رابردوو هێزه‌ ئه‌منیه‌كانی ئێران چه‌ندین جار رێگریان له‌ به‌ڕێوه‌چوونی رێوره‌سمه‌كانی كانونی نوسه‌ران كردووه‌ و چه‌ندین جار ئه‌ندامه‌كانیان ده‌ستگیركراون.

كانونی نوسه‌ران ساڵی رابردوو له‌ په‌ینجاهه‌مین ساڵیادی دامه‌زراندنی خۆی به‌ ده‌ركردنی به‌یاننامه‌یه‌ك رایگه‌یاندبوو، كه‌ به‌رده‌وامه‌ له‌ به‌ره‌نگاربوونه‌وه‌ی سانسۆر و به‌رگری له‌ ئازادی راده‌ربڕین و به‌ رێكخراوه‌یی كردنی نوسه‌ران.

ئه‌و كانونه‌ له‌ رۆژی یه‌كی گوڵانی 1347 ی هه‌تاوی به‌ واژۆ 49 نوسه‌ر دامه‌زراندنی خۆی راگه‌یاند و له‌ ئه‌نجومه‌نی دامه‌زراندنیدا كه‌سانێكی وه‌ك جه‌لال ئالی ئه‌حمه‌د، به‌هرام به‌یزایی، داریوش ئاشوری، محه‌مه‌د عه‌لی سپانلو و ئیسماعیل نوری عه‌لا ئاماده‌بوون.

به‌درێژایی نیوسه‌ده‌ له‌ ته‌مه‌نی، كانونی نوسران، هه‌وراز و نشێوی زۆری به‌ خۆیه‌وه‌ بینیوه‌، له‌وانه‌ كوژرانی محه‌مه‌د موختاری و محه‌مه‌د پویه‌نده‌، دوو كه‌سایه‌تی هه‌ڵسوڕاوی كانونه‌كه‌، له‌ لایه‌ن هێزه‌كانی وه‌زاره‌تی ئیتلاعاته‌وه‌.

ئه‌و كوشتنانه‌، به‌شێك له‌ سه‌ركوتی به‌رهه‌ڵستكاران و ره‌خنه‌گرانی كۆماری ئیسلامی ئێران بوو، كه‌ وه‌ك كوشتنه‌ زنجیره‌ییه‌كان ناساروه‌ و كه‌سایه‌تیه‌كانی وه‌ك داریوش فروهه‌ر، سه‌رۆكی حزبی میله‌تی ئێران و په‌روانه‌ فروهه‌ری هاوژینی، مه‌جید شه‌ریف و پیروز ده‌وانی نوسه‌ر و لێكۆڵه‌ر و چه‌ندین كه‌سایه‌تی جیابیر بوونه‌ قوربانی ئه‌و شه‌پۆلی كوشتنه‌.
